House Policies

 

Doors

Doors to the Atrium open to the public one hour prior to curtain.  Theater doors open a half hour to curtain. Latecomers will be held in the theater lobby until a break in the performance.

 

Cellular Phones and Recording Devices

When attending any performance, please turn off all cell phones and pagers upon entering the theater. The use of recording devices and still cameras is strictly prohibited.

 

Children

Children of any age are required to have a ticket; parents are encouraged to use good judgement in bringing small children to performances. Parents are asked to remove restless children immediately from the theater.

 

Concessions/Refreshments

Concessions will be open for most MainStage and BlackBox performances. All major credit cards now accepted.

No food or beverage is permitted in the theaters.

 

Smoking

No smoking is allowed in the building. Ash receptacles are placed outside the building.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?
September through May, the Box Office is open Monday through Thursday, 9:00AM – 4:30PM and Friday, 9:00AM to 4:00PM.

June through August, the Box Office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00AM – 4:00PM.

Extended hours are added prior to events and performances.

 

CAN I SWITCH DATES ON MY SINGLE TICKETS?
Single tickets cannot be exchanged.  However, subscription series tickets may be exchanged for a different date of the same performance that cannot be attended.

 

CAN I GET A REFUND?
No, all ticket sales are final.  We do not offer refunds or single ticket exchanges.  However, they can be donated back to Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center for resale for a tax credit. Returned tickets must be received 24 hours prior to the performance you are unable to attend. You will receive an acknowledgement letter by mail within two weeks.

 

CAN YOU HOLD SEATS TO BE PAID FOR LATER?
Tickets cannot be held without payment.  Payment is required at the time of order placement.

 

IF MY STUDENT ATTENDS THE LINCOLN PARK PERFORMING ARTS CHARTER SCHOOL, DO I NEED TO PURCHASE A TICKET?
Yes, tickets are required for all performances.

 

HOW DO YOU GET TO MIDLAND?
Directions are provided on the Contact Us page.  Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center is located at 1 Lincoln Park, Midland, PA 15059.

 

IS THERE HANDICAPPED PARKING?
Yes, there are spaces located in the parking lot directly behind our building.

 

WHERE CAN WE PARK?
All parking at Lincoln Park is Free. Parking is available in the parking lot directly behind the building, the lot behind BP Gas Station, the lot located at 900 Midland Avenue, and in the lot on Beaver Avenue on the 10th Street side of the building.  On-street parking is also available all around Lincoln Park; patrons should be aware of yellow curbs which indicate no-parking zones.  There are a number of handicapped parking spaces available in the lot directly behind the building.  Large vans and buses can use the parking lot located at 1200 Midland Avenue.  All parking lots are marked with Lincoln Park signage.

 

ARE THERE SENIOR DISCOUNTS ON TICKETS?
No, because our tickets are so reasonably priced, we do not offer any senior discounts.

 

DO I NEED A TICKET FOR MY CHILD?

Yes, every “body” needs a ticket.

 

WHEN DO TICKETS GO ON SALE?
Ticket on-sale dates at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center vary depending on the event/show. Subscription series tickets typically go on sale sometime in the spring for the upcoming season. Individual tickets for our subscription series shows typically go on sale July 1st, for the upcoming season. All Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School events/shows typically go on sale 4 weeks prior to the event. Tickets for all other performances/events go on sale anywhere from 4 weeks to 12 weeks prior to the event. Please check our website, or call our box office at 724-576-4644 opt. 2, to inquire about on-sale dates for any of our upcoming shows.

 

WHAT TIME DO THE DOORS OPEN?
The atrium doors open 1 hour prior to the show time.  The theater doors open 30 minutes prior to curtain.

 

DO WE ACCEPT CHECKS?
Checks are accepted for subscription series purchases only.

 

CAN NON-STUDENTS AUDITION FOR SHOWS?
Yes, anyone may audition for our Subscription Series shows. For more information, please visit our Auditions page.

 

ARE THERE GROUP DISCOUNTS?
No, as the Center’s ticket prices are already  reasonably priced, no discounts are available to groups.  However, we offer priority seating to groups of 10 or more prior to the on-sale date.  Please visit our Group Sales page for more information on amenities we offer for groups.
