Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center announces auditions for The All Hands on Deck! Show! Auditions will take place December 16 and 18, 2025 and are open to all students grades 9 through 12th.
The Audition
Please arrive a minimum of 10 minutes before your scheduled audition time to check in and fill out any necessary paperwork including all known conflicts.
Vocal Audition
Vocal auditions will take place on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 from 4:00-8:00pm at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center in the Rehearsal Studio.
Please follow signs to enter through the 10th Street Entrance (Main Office) to check in with Stage Management.
Please prepare a 32-bar cut of a Broadway song or song from the Great American Songbook
Please bring sheet music in the correct key for the provided accompanist.
Please bring a current headshot and resume as well as a signed copy of the Application for Minors in Performance form linked below. (Minors in Performance form only required if under the age of 18 years old.)
All auditioning Vocalists must attend the Dance Call on Thursday, December 18, 2025 to be considered for casting.
The Dance Call
Dance Call is scheduled on Thursday, December 18, 2025 from 4:00pm-7:00pm in Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center’s Rehearsal Hall. Please enter through the 9th Street Artist Entrance.
Appropriate dance apparel includes: Leotard or solid color fitted shirt, skin colored tights, black tights, leggings, jazz pants or athletic pants (also acceptable- a ballet or swing skirt over leotard and tights).
Please bring character shoes, tap shoes, and sneakers for swing dancing. If you have jazz heel boots, please bring them but not required.
Please have your hair pulled back away from your face.
All auditioners must attend a vocal audition to be considered for casting.
Callbacks
Callbacks are by invitation only on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 7:00pm-9:00pm (following the dance call) in Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center’s Rehearsal Hall.
Please enter through the 9th Street Artist Entrance to check in with Stage Management.
Current Lincoln Park students under the age of 18 must download and complete the following Application for Minors in Performances form and bring with them to auditions.
Students under the age of 18 who do not attend Lincoln Park, please download and complete this full version of the form and bring to your audition.

Synopsis
All Hands On Deck! Show is an award-winning, high-energy WWII Big Band Roadshow and Radio Broadcast filled with toe-tapping American songs, heart-warming harmonies, Broadway-style tap dancing, rousing on-air fun, classic radio commercials and sing-along excitement all accompanied by a 9-piece Orchestra!
Character Breakdown
Ted Crosley – host of the show, a song-n-dance man, baritone.
John Hanley – Hollywood’s most sought after tenor.
Daisy Maxwell – Hollywood’s newest girl-next-door, alto.
Betty Blake – Performer with classic Hollywood glamour and strong stage presence.
Announcer – Local radio/weather man type
Maxwell House Guest Stars – Dancers, Singers, Triple-Threat Performers for various solo and ensemble roles.
